Cameron Beggs, MA, TLLP
Formally trained in clinical psychology and theology and endorses an integrative theoretical approach toward the two disciplines. Clinical experience includes working with individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Certified Gottman Level 1 couples therapy. Manages InterSessions clinic and has oversight over all interns in the Masters of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum programs.

Kimberly Williams, LPC

Clinical experience includes working with individual, couples, and group therapy. Certified Gottman Level 1 and Level 2 couples therapy and Gottman’s Treating Affairs and Trauma in relationships. Assists with training of all interns in the Masters of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum programs.

Spring Jeffers, TLLP, LLC
Spring holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. Formally trained in clinical psychology and theology, she uses an integrative approach toward the two disciplines. Spring specializes in working alongside teens, young adults, women, and couples going through difficult seasons and life transitions. She offers a hope-based, restorative approach that aims to be both compassionate and constructive. Additionally, she is certified as a Gottman Level 1 couple's therapist. Spring is also passionate about pairing Christian principles with art therapy techniques to offer a creative, faith-based approach to help individuals heal at a therapeutic level.

John M. Restum, PsyD, LP
Professor John Restum, PsyD, LP serves as faculty on the Michigan Moody Theological Seminary campus. He teaches graduate courses within the MACP and CMHC clinical programs. He also serves as clinical director for the Michigan campus-based InterSessions Counseling Center, providing supervision for graduate interns and licensed clinic staff. Professor Restum began his teaching career in 1994 with Michigan Theological Seminary and transitioned to Moody Theological Seminary faculty following the 2010 seminary merger. He is a licensed clinical psychologist who recently retired from the Wayne County Jail, serving as Mental Health Department Director.

James Wood, PhD, LP
Professor Wood serves as Professor of Clinical Practice on the Moody Theological Seminary-Plymouth, MI campus. He teaches graduate courses within the MACP and CMHC clinical programs and supervises student interns at the campus clinic (InterSessions). Dr. Wood first began teaching at Michigan Theological Seminary in 2001, transitioning to Moody Theological Seminary faculty at the 2010 merger. Dr. Wood also developed a post-graduate certificate program at the time of the merger in Marriage & Family Counseling. Dr. Wood served as a consulting psychologist for all school districts in Oakland County, Michigan through Oakland ISD from 2000 – 2025. Dr. Wood has also had a successful private practice in clinical psychology as well as having served as a staff psychologist at Pine Rest Christian Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His labradoodle is named Archie, and Dr. Wood is convinced that Archie is part human.
Sara Temple, TLLP, LLC
Formally trained in clinical psychology and theology and endorses and takes joy in an integrative theoretical approach toward the two disciplines. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, family, and groups with a wide variety of mental health and relational needs. Sara particularly enjoys working with young children, tweens/teens, couples (as a Gottman Level 1 certified therapist) and families on an infertility or perinatal loss journey. Sara assists with training of all interns in the Masters of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum programs.
