At InterSessions, we are committed to taking the privacy of our clients seriously. We strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines, meaning that all treatment information is protected and confidential. All treatment records and other personal data are only given out with client prior, written permission. Information may be given without client consent only if it is for accrediting, licensing, payment, financial, and/or quality care reviews or to another healthcare provider, if it is an emergency. All treatment information may also be released, by law, to the proper person if it is needed to keep the client or others from being harmed.
